Since first publishing the website it doesn’t seem to have stopped raining so I haven’t been out exploring new routes. I do have a list of new walks mostly west of Okehampton and some around Chagford.
I can report that there is now a new bridge over the Walkham river down at Double waters. Its a pity DCC couldn’t afford to extend it but the big boulders are doing a reasonable job in keep back the water from flowing around the bridge. Perhaps one day they might put in a board walk or something similar. Here is a picture of Tavistock Ramblers coming over the new bridge a few weeks ago.
