Walk 1 about 6 miles

Radford Lake to Saltram

The walk starts at Radford lake next to Radford Castle folly and takes you initially on a disused railway track out to the roundabout at the start of Pomphlett road. You will then walk up to and through the National Trust Saltram estate before returning via Stag Lodge and Wixenford road. Then going through Plymstock, passing a Neolithic barrow, back to Radford Dip where you will have parked your car.

Walk 2 about 4.5 miles

Marsh Mills to Plymbridge

 A short walk quite suitable for children and dogs takes you up the East bank  of the Plym and back down the West bank  going via the Leigham housing estate to return to the car park via the underside of the Marsh Mills Flyover pictured here.

 

Walk 3 about 4.5 miles

Plymbridge to Bickleigh

This walk takes you along the very edge of the Plym and back in a southerly direction on the West Devon Way then through some delightful woodland using the ancient Dartmoor Tramway.
